Behind the Scenes with HA's Collection

Join Historic Annapolis as Curator Robin Matty unveils a “hidden” jewel in our collection, Francis Blackwell Mayer’s 1876 painting, View from Shiplap House, Annapolis, MD. Recently reframed, we are offering a sneak peek at this spectacular piece. Mayer painted this at one of the most prominent historic properties in Annapolis, Shiplap House, which he owned and where he lived during the latter half of his life.

Additional rarely-seen collection items will be on display during this special event while you mix and mingle with our Curator and fellow decorative arts enthusiasts.

Cost: $20 General Admission; $15 HA Members and Volunteers; Free for Curator's Circle Members
