Preservation Leadership Training: Invitation to Evolve. Hosted by the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Preservation Maryland, and Historic Annapolis

Join experts from around the field for discussions, case studies, and immersive experiences designed to inspire new thinking about historic sites and house museums.

This Preservation Leadership Training ® (PLT) will explore the following key themes: Enlivening Collections and Landscapes; Interpreting the Whole Story Creative; Community Outreach and Unexpected Partnerships. The workshop includes an optional overnight sleep-over at the James Brice House with Joseph McGill as part of the Slave Dwelling Project on Wednesday, September 7. Keynote speakers include Katherine Malone-France, vice president of historic sites at the National Trust for Historic Preservation; Joseph McGill, founder of The Slave Dwelling Project; David Young, executive director of Cliveden; and Howard Zar, executive director of Lyndhurst.

Registration costs (includes morning coffee, lunch, and afternoon snacks on both days):
