Mr. Paca's Garden: Summer Storytime, "Planting A Rainbow"

Location: William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street

Time: Program, 10 - 11 am; Garden Time, 11 - 11:30 am

Join us on six Tuesday mornings this summer for storytime and fun activities in the William Paca Garden, a secret treasure in the Historic District of Annapolis. Each program is designed for little ones (4-7 years) with a book reading, song, craft/art project, and free time in the garden. 

Have you ever taken a moment to notice all the brilliant colors in a garden? This story, "Planting A Rainbow," follows a mother and daughter’s adventure as they plant seeds and bulbs in their backyard. Let’s get together and reflect on how flowers in our gardens depict the colors of rainbows. 

Cost: $10 per Child and $5 per Adult for General Admission; $8 per Child and Free for Adults for HA Members and Volunteers; $5 per Child and Free for Adults for Family Circle Members 
 

Please Note: an adult must accompany their child(ren) for the entirety of the program; garden time is not supervised by staff. Activities are held outdoors on the tented terrace. In the event of inclement weather, the activities will be held inside, and all participants over the age of 3 will be required to wear a mask.

Historic Annapolis's primary concern is the health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers. We have increased cleaning and disinfecting frequencies and monitor the health of staff and volunteers daily. In order to ensure a safe visit for you, our guests, the following policies are in effect for all who visit the William Paca House and Garden:

• Masks are required for visitors (ages 3 and up) while inside the Paca House. When you are outdoors, masks are encouraged, but not required.
• Hand sanitizer will be available for your use.
• By entering the William Paca Garden, you are affirming that:
  • You have not been in contact with anyone who is either confirmed or suspected of being infected with COVID-19 in the last 10 days, and
  • You are not currently sick, nor have you experienced symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 10 days.
