4th of July CelebrationDate: July 3, 2016 Location: William Paca House and Garden, 186 Prince George Street Time: 10 am - 5 pm Fourth of July events at the William Paca House and Garden commemorate William Paca’s signing of the Declaration of Independence – America’s 1776 birth certificate. The day begins with an inspirational Naturalization Ceremony where dozens of people from communities around the globe become America’s newest citizens in a stirring ceremony. The celebration continues as visitors tour the grand Georgian mansion William Paca built 250 years ago and wander the paths of his beautifully restored two-acre pleasure garden. Along the way, visitors will likely encounter Mr. Paca himself and other notable Annapolis residents and hear why they pledged their lives, fortunes and honor to the revolutionary cause of American independence. Hands-on activities for kids of all ages will bring the struggles of American independence to life. 10 am Naturalization Ceremony 11 am – 5 pm Living History in the Paca House Free Admission
