Washington's Immortals: The Untold Story of an Elite Regiment Who Changed the Course of the Revolution
Date: August 22, 2016
In August 1776, General George Washington found his troops outmanned and outmaneuvered at the Battle of Brooklyn with no obvious escape. Best-selling author and historian, Patrick O’Donnell, brings to life the forgotten story of the “Immortal 400,” a heroic regiment comprised of Maryland Militia men who attacked, allowing Washington to evacuate his men. Two hundred and fifty-six “Maryland Heroes” lost their lives in the Battle.
