Historic Annapolis (HA) is hosting its annual Fourth of July event at the William Paca House on Thursday, July 4, 2019. Each year, the event draws both locals and tourists to celebrate the birth of our nation at the home of William Paca, a signer of the Declaration of Independence and a three-term Governor of Maryland.

Historic Annapolis joins more than 50 other Smithsonian Institution-affiliated museums across the country in celebrating the 50th anniversary of humanities historic first steps on the moon by screening the Smithsonian Channel’s new documentary, “The Day We Walked on The Moon,” on Saturday, July 20, 2019, 6:30 p.m.

The popular Historic Annapolis Happy Hour Series returns on Thursday May 16, June 13, July 18, August 15, and September 19. Each Happy Hour takes place at the William Paca House and Garden, located at 186 Prince George Street, from 5 pm – 7 pm.

Historic Annapolis (HA) is very pleased to announce that, as of January 22, 2019 Michael Day began serving as the organization’s new Senior Vice President of Capital Projects.

As of January 31, 2019, the Historic Annapolis Museum and Store located at 99 Main Street will be closing temporarily to create a new and inviting space for its upcoming permanent exhibit on the history of Annapolis.
