If you are interested in a more in-depth tour of the William Paca House, you will not want to miss the 2020 Decorative Arts Tours. Led by Curator of Collections, Robin Matty, the tours take place on Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30 pm throughout the spring, summer and fall.

Colonial Annapolis was fortunate to have several skilled craftsmen who produced beautiful and functional decorative pieces. Chief among them was master cabinetmaker John Shaw, and silversmith William Ferris. You will see some of their work as you tour the William Paca House, along with paintings by significant artists of the day that reflect the personal wealth and status of the Paca household.

Tours take place on April 15, June 3, August 19 and October 14 from 1:30-2:30 at the William Paca House, 186 Prince George Street, Annapolis.

Costs are $8 for Curator’s Circle, $13 for Historic Annapolis members and volunteers, $15 for non-members.

Reservations are requested. Please visit the Calendar of Events at www.annapolis.org or call (410) 267-7619 to sign up.
