Lucinda has curated a number of exhibitions for The Mitchell Gallery, including A. Aubrey Bodine: Our Town; Knights, Crooks and Heroes: The Art of American Illustration; Pushing the Line: American Women Printmakers; The Spirit of Africa; Ben Zion: In the Grip of the Five Senses; and The Sweet Uses of Adversity: Images of the Biblical Job. She has also served as a designer for The Mitchell Gallery, the Hammond-Harwood House, the Daughters of the American Revolution Museum, Washington, DC and other institutions. Ms. Edinberg has been a juror for the Maryland Federation of Art; Academy Art Museum, Easton, MD; Prince George’s County Art League and a lecturer for the Smithsonian Institution, Syracuse University, American University, Princeton University, National Gallery of Art Teacher Workshop, and other art museums and organizations. Lucinda is currently cataloging the Fine and Decorative Arts Collection at St, John’s College and curating and designing an upcoming exhibition for the Annapolis Opera Company’s 50th Anniversary.

About Our Presenter: Lucinda Dukes Edinberg is the Interim Director of The Mitchell Gallery, St. John’s College, having served as the gallery’s art educator. She holds a B.F.A. in studio art from the University of Texas at Arlington and an M.A from Notre Dame of Maryland University. Lucinda is a Maryland certified art teacher for grades K-12 and an adjunct instructor in art history at Anne Arundel Community College.
